I'm using, or attempting to use, C-Kermit 5A(191) for OS/2. I
recently upgraded my system from Warp 3.0 to 4.0. After I did this I
noticed that C-Kermit would sporadically cause my system to lock.
While telnetting to a Unix host, sometimes if I pressed Cntl-C in that
window then the entire operating system would freeze to the point that
even Cntl-Alt-Del wouldn't do anything. I know it's possible to use
this setup without problems, as a) I had no problems with 3.0, b) I
had no problems with an earlier version of 4.0, and c) A roommate of
mine has this same setup without problems (though he might have had
one occurance of it earlier today; he isn't sure what caused his
system to lock but he thinks it was the problem with Kermit that I've
been having). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd hate to have to
reinstall the operating system, but I can't go on using OS/2's telnet
client much longer and C-Kermit is too unstable right now! Thanks in
advance for your help.
